Pattern of the Month - August 1999 Fish Motif (2 shuttles) Fish bowl, Koi pond, lake, stream,...wherever! Go fishin' with this little motif that lets you do some experimentation with the upper fins and tail. You can even experiment with the use and placement of beads to give some shine for the "scales". Enjoy!
The overall shape of this design is not particularly "natural" for tatting. You will need to wet, pin/block, and perhaps even slightly starch for the fish to keep its shape. Once it dries from the blocking, however, it holds the shape very well. Thread: Cebelia,
